I need a Vacation from this Staycation

Well so it isn’t exactly a staycation since I am working form home, but I am sure like many other people I need something to change up the rhythm. This day in and day out of working form home and very limited social contact is getting to me and need to do anything so here are my ideas:

  • Try just wearing men’s clothing for a day. Not ideal but it would be a change.
  • Perhaps a summer photo shoot, skirt and other fun clothing options, not quite in bikini shape yet.
  • Paint a self portrait, well I can’t paint and don’t have the needed supplies.
  • Make a makeup table for myself. I have the tools just lacking wood.
  • Thing out my books, I have a bunch from university that won’t do me much good.
  • Finish refinishing the cedar strip canoe in my garage.

Pretty much anything at this point would be a nice change of pace. I am sure many of you are in the same boat and perhaps we can crowd source some options.

  1. The hardest thing about this stay in place routine is that it stifles energy to do a lot of things. There are some things that I can do that need to be done but with no end of the shutdown in sight I do not do them so that if I need something to do there will be something to do. It is a combination of “Ground Hog Day” and “Catch 22”

    1. Oh I know that feeling. I mean I am still working but normally this time of year I would barely be in the city but instead be in classrooms and pools. This year it’s office work. I am sure one of the harder things to adjust to will be going back to the old routine.

I love to hear from people who read my blog, even if your not in agreement with me. Your comments may spur me on to write something else so please comment.
